I'm glad they at least told you that you were approved for the credit card, and that the card is working out for you. Our local Walmart does not have gas, but we do get gas at Sam's from time to time. Their gas price is usually pretty good.

I applied online for a Sam's Club credit card and received a letter in the mail telling me my credit line and that the card was waiting for me at my local Sam's Club. All I needed to do was visit the membership department and let them take my new picture. It was very easy and now my membership card is also my credit card. I agree the interest rate is too high but I only use it for small purchases and pay off the balance every month. I found this site while doing a Google search to see if my Sam's Club card is valid at WalMart and after reading this review, apparently it is. I will be sure to try that on my next visit. The savings at the WalMart gas pump is great!

You know, at first I was really upset when I saw my credit card, but they were so professional and quick in the way they fixed things that I was kind of sad that I wouldn't be doing business with them again. I thought it was going to take forever to get everything straightened out, but the credit reporting companies were quick in fixing it as well.

That situation would have made me livid. I pride myself on having a good credit rating. Thanks for an excellent review and I'm glad you were able to straighten it out so quickly.

What great timing! If you know what you're going into, I don't think it's a bad card, but I think there are better deals out there if you are going to make large purchases at Sam's. I'd look into Discover reviews if I were you. I believe they have lower rates. I know Sam's has its own Discover too, which can be used anywhere that takes Discover.

I am SO glad I read this. Hubby and I were talking about getting a credit card from SAMS just about an hour ago and I stumbled across this review.
