Samsill Sheet Protectors - How you have saved the day!
Written: Mar 10 '07
Pros:easy to use, clear view, top loading, strong and durable
Cons:none, really. They are terrific!
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for quality, clear, sturdy sheet protectors, these are absolutely a must buy!
Protecting paperwork, whether it's cheat sheets at work that you use a lot or important presentations, homework and/or even study material, if you want to keep it looking nice, these protectors will protect the paper!
Features and Pros
These sheet protectors fit the standard 3-ring binders that most offices and even school binders use.
The side or edge where the holes are punched is actually white and has a strengthened edge and it holds up nicely when flipping around 3-ring binders.
The protector sheets have notched corners and the holes are pre-punched very well so that there will not be any tugging in the binder when turning the pages.
The size of protectors that I am using are the standard 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of paper.
They are made of polypropylene and are archival safe. These sheet protectors are of the ultra clear plastic so that you can see through them very nicely. They are not opaque like some products out there or filmy.
These are acid free sheets that can help you if you are wanting to store items with photographs, or memories and you don't want the material you are storing them in eating away at your memories!
These sheet protectors are top loading and have strong, heavy duty or heavy weight construction and take the use or, if you will, the abuse very well.
I purchased this box of protectors a long time ago at a club store and have not used even half of the box. The items that I put in them were work related and I used those pages daily.
I have never had to replace my sheet protectors due to wear and tear and to date, they still look nice and I can read the materials through the protectors.
Cons
Honestly, I cannot really think of any cons that I have come across, other than the materials that I want to save in the protectors won't load themselves.
As with all plastic items when it's really dry in the winter, you will find some static electricity in the pages when you are turning them. But, that is minimal.
Overall
I am very impressed with these protectors and if I have to purchase more, I will look for this brand. The protectors we actually have at work are opaque and hard to read through as they are textured. These are terrific and smooth.
If you are looking to protect items work wise or personal wise, these are terrific protectors to use.
This company makes a lot of fine products like CD holders, removable diskette holders and even business card pages to store cards you receive.
~Thank you for spending time with me today!~
