johnkara's Full Review: Samsung BlackJack Smartphone
This is not a bad phone, its simply the WORST phone I have ever had the displeasure of owing.
Its so bad I took my carpenter's hammer to it after I drove over it with my car, just to make doubly sure I totally killed the farker! I've replaced this piece of crap with a real phone, the Nokia N95.
The number of times I missed phone calls on the blackjack because I could not hear the phone ring, even when it was in my breast pocket I can't recall. You can not adjust the ring tone! Why not for heavens sake? Its the most frustrating phone on the market. And the number of times it would automatically dial a number when it was accidently bumped(such asbeing in my pocket), I have lost count!! And when in locked mode and it rang, the number of times I accidently disconnected the caller because I pressed the answer key, I have lost count. And then you want to unlock it, well the process is so stupid and convoluted its a pain in the backside. The software needs a complete rewrite - the navigation system it employs is not intuitive; simply put it sucks! Its far from being easy to follow. Take a look at the number of used blackjacks being sold on ebay and you have your answer about its quality!
I have spoken to several other disgruntled owners and they have made the same decision as me - kill the blackjack and buy a Nokia N95.
I just dont dislike this phone but in fact, I HATE THIS PHONE.I will post on youtube the video of me destroying this rotten, terrible, expensive and useless excuse for a phone.
SAMSUNG should be ashamed of itself for not thoroughly testing this piece of crap before putting it on the market. I will never buy another SAMSUNG phone and am feeling hesitant of buying a SAMSUNG refridgerator or televisions!!
My score out of ten:.... hmmm...errr... let me think...but not too long .... ZERO, ZERO.
Its the type of phone you fear the most especially when you have bought it on a phone plan ... you fear buying a lemon which is so inferior that you want to destroy it.
