Is hit the up arrow toggle to the left othe LCD screen. This volume is for all sounds including ringtone and speaker, etc...

I've got lots of other issues with my Blackjack, but yours is actually a non-problem.

Heck you could even set it to both vibe and ring, to help notify you.
