| delporto's Full Review: Samsung Blast Cell Phone |
I have had this phone for about a year now, (Samsung Blast) and have gone through three of these phones. The first one the top right buttons would rarely work. The second phone the camera would only take night vision like pictures. The third phone the screen would go completly white at random times and would take a while to return to regular operation. With these problems T-mobiles customer service has been helful and kind with getting replacments in a timely matter. My main gripe about this phone is the battery life, it is way short for my kind of usage(I text a lot). I will get a "low battery" message every night around nine to ten, and have to plug it in. Another thing that might bother a avid music listener or anyone is that there is no headphone jack, and you must use supplied headphones, also the speaker on the phone is quiet. Phone memory itself is limited and holds about two hundred texts before you have to empty/delete texts. For exta room phone has a micro SD card slot which is nice for music and picture room. Camera is 1.3 mega pixels and takes okay pictures. Things I love about this phone is you are able to make songs into ring tones, eliminating buying ring tones from T-mobile. The qwerty keyboard, (though not a full one) in my opinion makes texting and writing small notes easy and fast. User manual explains all aspects of the phone and makes using phone's potential easy. Says it has e-mail capabilitys, I have never got it to work. Doesn't bother me much. As much as I like this phone I would not recommend other than to people that don't use their phones often. Why? Because under normal useage and wear the phone dies over time. I have talked to many of people with this phone or they used to have it and they all have had problems. And if you want e-mail on your phone, you're looking in the wrong place. Over all it'd be cheaper to just buy a different phone.
