Having late problems

Pros: Takes up less space with 2 units

Cons: Quit working after a few months, poor customer service

After about 6 months of use I noticed the DVD spin getting louder, taking longer to load and now it will not load any DVD. I took it back to Best Buy and they hooked it up and it ran fine. I took it home, hooked it up and it still ran fine. I put it in the entertainments center and WHAMMO, same problem again. Heat issue maybe? Its on a shelf with about 10 inches above it in an open cabinet.
