My father watched Golf as if it were in High Def 3D...the picture quality is unmatched and the 15,000 to 1 contrast makes all the difference. HDMI connections are a must and the Samsung has 3. The set swivels and is an absolutely beautiful high gloss black. Plus it barely tips the scale at 70lbs. I love the HDTV tuner...free programming is a must. PIP is nice for a watching a movie while keeping up on a sporting event. This TV cost almost half of my first Panny Plasma, but is loaded with more features and twice the quality and performance. The only bad thing is the sound quality, which is easily compensated with an Onkyo receiver and KEF speakers.
