I got my Juke from Verizon for free. I had a chose from about five phones, all I could have gotten for free, but the Juke stuck out for some reason. It stuck out because it was so little and sexy. It just looked the best. I like the spin dial on the front when the phone is closed and the style of the keys. Overall it just looks good. It is easy to open, it just swivels. I got it without really knowing what the features were. Here are the feature I discovered while using my phone.
Look
The sexy brightness of the phone is what really made me want it. It comes in black, red, navy, or till. The style of the keys is different than any other phone I have had. I like the spin dial on the front because it makes it look like an ipod. The slide open feature is really cool, but sucks sometimes when i have it in my pocket because it will slide open. This really does bug me because it feels like it is vibrating when it slides open in my pocket so I am always checking to see if someone is calling or texting. I do like it though because it is really easy and fast to open. It does not show the scratches easily. I have a few marks on the back where the color is coming off but nothing serious. I have had my phone for about 5 months so I think that is pretty good.
Size
It is 1.18" wide, 3.82" high, and 0.83" in depth. It is about 128 x 220, about the size of a pack of gum and weighs 2.82 oz. It fits easily in your pocket and pretty much anywhere else a pack of gum would fit. I usually have it my pocket and hardly realize I have it with me. One day I was searching all over my house for my phone. I looked for like 3 hours. Finally I had my sister call my phone and guess what? It started vibrating in my pocket. So it is really nice if you can keep track and are good at not losing things! It may be too small for some people but for the younger generation it is great and I think that the younger generation is the main focus for this phone. It also makes it a lot easier to text and dial because the keys are close together. Sometimes you will hit more than one key because the keys are small, but it is alot faster.
Memory
The memory is great. There is a total of 64 MB. I have 110 pics on my phone and still have a lot of memory left. On my other phone I had to get a memory card for my pictures. The memory for music is pretty good, it can hold 1.87 GB's. It holds up to 500 contacts. That is alot, but honestly who has that many contacts?
Sound
The sound is good. I can hear really good, but my mom hates using it because she can't hear. I tell her it is just because she is getting old and can't hear anymore. When using the speaker when calling someone I can't hear excellent but I can stil hear. With the music the sound is good with ear phones and with the speaker. I like to use the speaker so my friends and I can listen to music.
Durability and Battery Life
This phone can take a beating. I can't count on both my hands and feet how many times I have dropped my phone and still works great. All it has are a few battle wounds, which you can hardly see. I do take care of my phone pretty good. The battery life is great. I can go three days without charging my phone. I talk an average of 2 hours a day. One bad thing is that when you leave it open the battery goes down pretty fast.
Music, Pics, and Videos
I love the music aspect of the phone. It is pretty much like a phone and MP3 all in one which is nice. It takes really good pictures and has and has a night-shot mode. It does not take videos which is a big con. I am not much of a video person so it really doesn't bother me. I love to take pictures so as long as it will hold all my pictures I am happy.
Summary
After I found out all the features of my new phone I loved it. I really could not find anything that I didn't like except that it opens in my pocket and does not take videos, but those are just minor things. I have not had any problems with my phone, I am very satisfied.
This phone is very sexy, little, and fun to have. If you like to listen to music, text, and take pictures you will love this phone. The sound, durability, size and looks are awesome.
