After years of using nokias i finally decided to give samsung a try...so far i am happy with my decision the only drawback so far isthat the voice activate dialing has more than its share of problems when i try to use the feature while driving (either windows open or radio) or when in a noisy surrounding like a mall.street etc. The annoying voice says it does not recognize the name of the person i am trying to talk to...oh well i.d rather dial the number manually and get that tremendous reception i had never experienced before. It is truly amazing...it can actually receive and send calls from the 3rd level of a parking garage and also in the middle of a tunnel.Living in Montreal,i have been used to miss calls in one of the many tunnels we have here.Signal just seemed to fade and die but with this amazing korean phone no need to excuse yourself because the communication will be cut off soon.t

Although it might have been a one in a hundred or so incident i must say that once i dropped the phone and the plastic covering thescreen shattered....after years of using..and dropping cell phones i must say it is the 1st time i see one just shatter like that thank goodness the guarantee i had covered the incident and that phone is now in korea and i am using a brand new replacement phone in the meantime.
Just some additionnal comments on the fabulous reception :i was 359 miles away from my hometown and without having to do anything or dial a local servicing i received a call as clear as if i was in my own backyard..so another point for this technology beauty.
As for the battery i find it quite fine unless you use the car adaptor then it wont last as long as the nokia did but hey it will get your calls going after you have left your car.
In a few words this is a great small light phone that fits in your shirt pocket as well as in your pouch with a truly great reception.I would higly recommend it since it also can retrieve your e mails..great technology.great looks
