Pros: Swivel base, you can turn it very easy.
Cons: the menu is poor. The remote non universal. Shiny Black Surface major dust magnet.
The Bottom Line: Picture marked lower because it's NOT better then real life. That's the only option given. I faulted durability I've had it a month. It wont last forever. Only God does!

I bought this TV from Circuit City a Month ago. I am one of those people that are willing to spend a little extra for a better set. I researched this on the internet for about a month before I bought it. CC had this TV as a 20,000:1 it is a 30,000:1.
When I walked into the Store I had a list of TV's I wanted to look at one was $2500 52" LCD. I compared this set with all of the the others in the store that day & I honestly thought that it had the third best picture. The very best came from a Sony 40" LCD. The next came from a LG Plasma, & then this TV. I wanted a larger screen then 40", but I tell you the picture was so good I still almost bought it.
Prior to the Purchase on my research I found nothing good about LG, yet the picture was actually nicer then this Samsung, so I put LG out of my mind, even though I have two LG DVD burners on my PC.
I compared this set to the 650 & tried from every possible way to make the 1080p version better. I had my mind set on 1080p. This clearly had a better picture then the 650. I tried to fault this TV every way over the Samsung LCD 52" & the Panasonic 50" 1080p & 720p. This had the best picture I could find.
I had bought a Polaroid 37 LCD a couple years ago which kicked the bucket. Fortunately I did buy the extended 3 year warranty. CC gave me a $1500 store credit. I paid 1099 for this set & actually got paid $30 for buying this set with a 5 year warranty.
