I bought an older home in January 2007 and after much research; decided on the Samsung which was delivered in February. It is a large refrigerator and I knew it would require some modification to the frig space in the kitchen. What I failed to measure was the width around my center island stove. It had to come through the front doors and around the island to get to the spot. They had to take all 4 doors off in order to get it past the island.
Once connected it cooled quickly but seemed to be slow about making ice. I think it must have taken about 3 days to fill the bin. Beyond that, I have had zero problems and it always draws attention with first time visitors to my new home.
I saw some comments about having to reset the frig at times by unplugging. Because I live in an older neighborhood, we have power outages or blips when the weather gets bad. Maybe this off/on helps it as much as when my PC is reset and rebooted.
Overall I am working on 1 year and 5 months with zero problems. The ice filter change indicator came on this week so looking to change it as needed.
