arieloveshad's Full Review: Samsung SC-DX103 DVD Camcorder
I purchased this camcorder from Best Buy. A week after I bought it, I started to have a lot of problems with it. It would cut off and freeze at random times. It also started to take forever to start up, about ten or so minutes. The price was appealing; however, I would have rather paid twice as much for a reliable camcorder. One feature that kind of sold me is the reduced hand movement, but it does not work. If your hand moves while recording, it will be known in the video. I also was drawn to this camcorder because it is YouTube compatible, which makes it very easy to upload your recordings directly to YouTube. I would not recommend the Samsung DVD camcorder to anyone. The quality is terrible. This camcorder is not worth anyone's money. The value for the price is horrible. It should be only $50. On the plus side, it is very easy to use and it also takes pictures. The Samsung DVD camcorder would, however be a great buy for a younger child in the age range of maybe 14 to 17. It is great for someone who is just starting out using a camcorder—just to gain a little experience. If you have something important that you need to record, do yourself a favor and buy another camcorder—not this one.
