Pros: Cleans well. Spin dries very well. Very Quiet
Cons: Unclear Instructions. Limited capacity. end-of-cycle signal too quiet to hear on loudest setting.
The Bottom Line: Buy this machine if you don't have a basement washroom and don't need the largest possible capacity.

| oldcoffeenerd's Full Review: Samsung WF337AAL Front Load Washer |
After reading 9 favorable reviews on the WF337 AAL I purchased one at Sears. I was wary of the other front loaders because they were having problems with wearing out when they were not sitting on a concrete basement floor. I reenforced my washroom floor with an extra layer of 3/4 inch plywood under the washer and dryer before installing porcelain tile. Then I had it delivered. I especially wanted the automatic balancing function that is only available on a Samsung.
Other than that it is pretty much as described in all the favorable reviews here with one exception. Samsung greatly exaggerates the capacity of this machine. It only holds about the same as our old Maytag top loader and the Maytag didn't hold as much as my previous extra large Whirlpool. The Samsung site lists the capacity as 4.0 Cu. Ft. I think that my old washer was 3.6 at most. On their site they show stacks of laundry supposedly washed by the 337. The business of 16 towels or jeans is a joke. I'm not even sure I can wash one quilt in it
That said, it does a very good job indeed if not too crowded. I think the instructions are unclear unless you like to study closely. I'm not sure if I can use Chlorox when on the White setting because that automatically puts the SilverCare function on and that does not use hot water (I think). There is a need to really understand the relationship of the buttons and the setting knob
A reviewer asked for more specifications so I am adding these: The machine comes from Samsung with a 1 year warrantee on parts and labor. I purchased a 5 year repair warrantee from Sears and that cost almost a quarter of the total. The sales person said that some of the Samsungs had worn out their anti vibration system and the investment in a service policy was worth the money.
The machine has 12 cycles on a knob and buttons for an extra long wash; an extra rinse; an extra long spin: a pre-wash; "my cycle" to store a favorite one; and "hold" on the main panel. Below that are buttons to select the wash/rinse temperatures; spin speed; SilverCare (a method supposed to sanitize laundry); soil level to adjust the wash times; and signal loudness. The cycle select knob presets all buttons depending on the kind of clothes you are washing and what you are trying to do. The buttons can override some of the knob settings but not others. You must study the manual to try to figure out what the cycles are trying to do and whether or not you should override any functions. This is very difficult to fathom.
