Wall mounts have pretty defined purpose and most adjustable models are thick enough to take away from the elegance to have you ultraslim LCD to actually blend in like picture. The Ultra Slim Wall Mount doesn't have any adjustability (or tilt) but it gets the latest generation of LCDTV so close to the wall that the elegance is quite close to having it "blend in" with the decor (picture frames).
Samsung's WMN1000B does feel at first like an overpriced picture hanger kit, and the price is high -- no doubt about that. However, elegance doesn't come cheap and the lowest offer at around $130 isn't as bad as the MSRP of $250 either. Samsung's website even offers an inspiration that I followed in my setup, where the LCD is nestled in a group of (large) picture frames that display my own b/w photos.
Installation: [*****] It takes about 30 minutes to install the four pieces to the back of the tv and have the two anchors installed for the wall hangers. Everything is included and only a 9 or 12 mm drill and Philips screwdriver need to be supplied on your own. A tape measure, level, and stud finder (to detect electrical wires) are highly recommended to get the tv in the right position and orientation. It's really not complicated, but accuracy certainly pays off.
Suggestion: Sit normal in your typical sofa or chair and measure eye level. That should be about the middle of the tv when installed and the instructions reference off that. (If you're short set it a bit higher and if you're very tall maybe a bit lower to accomodate friends and family.)
Stability: [****-] The wall discs are big enough to secure the cable enough to even have toddler run around and "play" with it. To keep it level is easy onder normal conditions, but make sure your wires are strain relieved and don't "tuck" on the tv as this mount won't hold it strong enough to keep it level.
Flexibility: [***--] It's limited to certain models, so make sure it's a supported LED TV before buying this mount. Once installed it functions much like a picture hanger and no tilt can be accomodated. So if you want to hang it high (i.e. fireplace) and tilt down for viewing, this mount is not for you.
Design: [*****] It's tiny and the components certainly look cool, especially the discs that mount to the wall. It's not that essential as it nearly completely vanishes even with a 40" screen installed. The extremely low depth helps to blend in with the accossories (i.e. picture frames), and that makes the use of it very stylish.
Value: [***--] I mentioned before that it's expensive and if you spent already all your money on the pricey LEDTV, you could craft it yourself relatively easily. (Hint: Visit a craft store and look for wire hangers for heavy pictures.) If you're less inclined to risk your TV in order to save a few bucks, the WMN1000B is an excellent design.
