Pros: Easy to use. Full feature set. Light. Mass-storage for Linux and Windows. Standard AAA.
Cons: USB Dongle is cumbersome. Ear phones are cheap. Device feels somewhat cheaply made.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it. Easy to use, full feature set, light, and cheap compared to other 256MB flash players. Mass-storage capability with no install needed for WinXP & Linux.

My first impression is great. I've had it for a few hours and haven't found anything really wrong.
I didn't have to read the manual to copy files on and listen to them. Nor did I need the manual to figure out the other main functionality -- FM radio and voice recording.
The device shows up immediately as a mass storage device on both WinXP and Linux (later 2.4 Kernel) without a need for drivers.
With an FM radio and voice recording, this device had the features I wanted.
The fast-forward / rewind access is cool - uses a twist action.
I really like the fact that it uses a standard AAA battery. I already have rechargeables for other devices. And you can always buy a Duracell in any country, anytime.
The standard earphones are uncomfortable and will likely be replaced.
The USB dongle is sort of silly. It's probably my biggest complaint, and it's not that big of a complaint.
The device is mostly plastic and has a cheap feel. Only time will tell if it stands up well. But other reviews don't complain.
The carrying case is a throw away.
Overall, GREAT first impression. I'll update this review after some time with it.
