Pros: Connector retracts back into the body of the unit. The price was very attractive.
Cons: SDCZ6 units don't run under W98SE. Don't confuse with the SDCZ4 (no U3).
I give this ZERO stars because I run Windows 98 and this is the ONLY unit I have come across that doesn't conveniently support W98SE (download and install driver). Yes, yes ... if I had read the stupid fine print on the back of the package, it does say "Win XP or W2K required".
I took it to work to test it on my W2K desktop there, and after the dumb thing ran the U3 subscription service video ad, it installed a permanent CD drive emulator for running the U3 crap. There was no choice on this ... it just got installed by plugging the drive into the device port. I couldn't remove anything because I don't have admin rights, and I got in trouble with the IT people over it. There ought to be a BOLD advisory warning about the automatic installation of software beyond the standard device driver.
