calgarygirl's Full Review: SanDisk Cruzer® Micro (2 GB) USB 2.0 Flash Dr...
This usb flash drive is exactly what I was looking for! Something small and will fit a lot of documents, pictures, software executables that I need to take. The actual connector slides inside to protect against damage. That is exactly the reason I bought this item. I don't care for the software that it automatically runs when you plug it in. I would rather have it act as a plain drive instead of have software windows pop up and ask you what you would like to do and save and where to put it. I feel bad when using it on someone else's computer because they think I am installing software on their computer. It kind of over stays your welcome on someone else's computer.
The software is easy to use. It has folders already in place to organize your items. But I find it quicker to open the drive itself and use the drag and drop feature. But it is a bit tricky because you see all the software folders already on the drive and you need to burrow in to use it. I may re-format the drive and have the software erased.
I bought is on sale from Dell for $19.99. I could pay a little more for the 4GB, but the 2GB is just fine. Why pay more for something you don't need. You shouldn't be using this as a backup storage unit. Just as a means to move data from one computer to the next. That is my opinion.
