Cons: Less space than other flash drives.
has a flimsy key ring.
I purchased this item right as soon as my first year of college began at a local store. It only cost me $18.00. Now, a year later, the lowest price that i've ever seen it sold for is actually this price, here on Epinions. So if you are in need of a usb flash drive with a decent amount of space, i would definitely suggest this item.
I purchased this item because my portable hard drive just became such a hassel. It is too big to carry around back and fourth from class, home, and work. Four gigs is a perfect amount of space to hold all of my assignments, some music, and even a program depending on how large it is. It's just everything I would expect it to be. Just enough to hold whatever is neccessary for school and work and then some. It is also very eash to transfer files from this device from a computer and then back onto another computer wherever i'm in need of it.
A larger USB Cruzer (16 gigs) or so just doesn't seem neccessary since I do have a large portable hard drive for larger files or programs.
It is extremely easy to use. All you have to do is plug it into a usb port on your computer and it pops up on your desktop and basically babies you through the process of saving files to your drive and everything else you would use a flash drive for.
It is very small. (about 1 1/2 inch long, 1/2 inch wide, and a centimeter tall). It is very very light weight. You got the point though i'm sure, it is really easy to carry around and it fits in your pocket without any buldging. It also has a ring in the bottom right corner in which you can attach to your key ring, so it's just another small dangling object on your keychain about the same size a key. On the top (front) of this device, there is a white button with an arrow pointing towards the "cruzer" lettering, indicating the direction in which you need to slide the button after pressing it down in order for the usb to slide out to plug into a usb port in your computer. Once you are finished transfering files and what not you can retract the usb plug back by fishing down and sliding the opposite direction (towards the micro 4 GB lettering).
1. I'm worried that it's key ring is going to fall off soon because it so flimsly ( bends easily ). I have had it for a year though so It is doing a decent job considering.
2. It's so small that it might fall out of my pocket easily if the ring does brake in the future. So i'm worried that i might lose it.
1. It has less space than most flash drives, but it is enough to get me through college and work so i'm not worried.
2. It's cost is excellent considering the great work it does and the prices of the other usb flash drive devices with less and more space. It fits evenly in between them in price range.
This is a very useful strorage device that has helped me and will continue to help me in file transfer throughout school and for the rest of my life, until it dies and i buy a new one of course. Consdering the shape it is in now ( one year after purchase ) I'm happy with it's durability and life lasting. It is super easy to use. Once you plug it in, your computer will basically tell you what to do. The pros definitely outweigh the cons in my eyes and i definitely suggest this item unless you are in need of a larger storage device. In that case i would suggest a 16g cruzer or a portable hard drive if size isn't an issue.
