Black, Red, Blue, Green, Orange and Brown - a rainbow of Dry Erase Markers!
Written: Sep 09 '11 (Updated Sep 09 '11)
Pros:Convenient, useful product.
Cons:None I can think of.
The Bottom Line: Dry erase boards are very convenient - but only if you can find the accessories easily. This product helps!
Dry Erase boards are used all over my office. Every Department has them, and they all use them in their own ways. One thing they all have in common, though, is the need for Dry Erase Markers - the markers designed specifically for dry erase boards. So the company bought a bunch of these Sanford Expo 2-Pack markers and holders.
The 5" by 8" holder is made of black plastic. Lightweight, it can easily be stuck directly onto the board, or on the wall next to the board. Six slots hold the six markers. The markers that came with the holder are black, red, blue, green, orange and brown, with chisel-tips. The colors are bright, and can be seen from the back of the room with no problem.
The markers are standard size. So you could also place other markers into the holder, when the ones that came with the set run out (or are "borrowed" by other departments, never to return home again). The markers are pretty fat - using them for a long time could cause some discomfort in your fingers. The caps slide into the back of the maker which is a feature I really appreciate - no excuse for losing the cap!
The holder also contains a slot for the included eraser.
The holders are very convenient, and solve the "where did I put that marker?" problem. For the most part, people replace the markers back into the holder when they're finished using them. The holders have held up well over the years. They continue to stick to the boards (or the wall), and the grips haven't let us down. Markers stay put, erasers stay put, and the holder, itself, stays put.
The convenient 2-packs cost about $8. Twelve markers in six colors should last a long time, and meet everybody's needs.
All in all, a very useful product for any office, home, or college dorm that uses a dry erase board.
