Pros: Gets the board super white.
Cons: Gasp, Gasp, Sputter...........Hold on, I need to recover from the fumes of this product.
The Bottom Line: All-in-all, when the small bottle doesn't hold out, get the gallon. Forget economical sizes and go industrial size.

The Exposing Expo:
.....I like the Expo line of products. Expo makes a variety of white board products, such as dry erase markers, erasers, board organizer kits and last, but not least, WHITE BOARD CLEANER. With Sanford Corp., I know I am getting quality items at reasonable prices. I believe that anyone that has a white board, whether a 1'x1.5' or 4'x14' classroom size, should carry around a bottle of the Expo White Board Cleaner. No matter how well you wipe the marker off the board, even right after you put it on, you just can't get everything off. Over time the board starts to accumulate an outline of marker erasures. Or sometimes the board becomes a completely new shade of blue or red from so much erasing over time. So, without further ado, I present the Expo White Board Cleaner review!
What Is This Magical Potion, And How Does It Work?
.....Expo White Board Cleaner is a very potent white board cleaner that does a dandy job at getting your whiteboard squeaky clean and shiny white. It is great for everywhere, such as at home on little boards to large classroom boards that are always being brought to discoloration from constant writing.
..First, let me say that if you purchase a gallon of the solution to buy an 8-0z bottle to refill, as I do not advised cleaning the board straight from the gallon. Using this solution is very simple that even a child could do it, as long as you don't have asthma and choke from the fumes. Before your first use, you will need to remove the plastic security label enclosing the cap (4 / 8-oz. Bottle only). Erase all markings on the board with an eraser and spray a generous amount across the board, as if to be doing windows. With a soft cloth -rag, paper towel, etc - just wipe down the board in all areas to get all the 'outline' off of it. With a paper towel you can spray a little in the marker tray and wipe all the powder out of it to make it look a site better. And that's it. You now have a WHITE board that will look decent.
How Often Should My Board Be Cleaned?
..This factor really depends on how often you use your board, the type of markers you use, how heavy you write and how much, and on your personal preference of 'dirty enough'. I like to clean my board every other use because it's a small board. If you use it a lot, then it is time to clean when the board has a lot of light outlines of erased marks that don't come off with an eraser. And last, if you have a large board and a bunch of 'powder ' has collected and lays all over the board, then it should be cleaned.
Many-A- Size:
.....The Expo White Board Cleaner comes in different sizes depending on your needs. The regular size is an 8-oz. bottle that works for most people. It ranges in price from $2.50 to $3.00 and can be found at a wide variety of locations such as Wal-mart, Staples, Office Depot, OfficeMax and where ever office supplies are sold. It is great for the little boards I use a home as well as the wide white boards at school in classrooms. A small 4-oz. bottle is included in some Expo dry erase kits. And for the industrial people who need more than for the buck and don't want to buy several little bottles can buy the one gallon size, pictured at the top. It is the same type bottle as a Clorox Bleach bottle, but clear. If I recall, the gallon sizes were about $18.00 to $22.00 in price. I don't see anyone ever going through an entire gallon in their lifetime, but it does make a good refiller for the small bottles used in classrooms, or if you just insist on cleaning your board every time you use it.
Once Upon A POTENT Potion:
..Like I mentioned in my other review on Expo White Board Cleaner 8-oz., the smell of this product would most definitely be it's downfall. It's not enough to make you pass out, but it is surely enough to make you gag if you stay around it long enough. 'Tis why I suggest that you clean your board, regardless of size, in a ventilated area with a window open or something. I guess the best products have to have some type of con or downfall.

Do I Think It Has The Bang For The Buck?
..I most certainly do. The Expo brand of white board cleaner is certainly a must-have for every white board owner. If you have a little board at home or a large one at work or school, this really is something to invest in. No one wants to have a filthy looking board, it makes it less presentable to others (the principle at my school required all teachers to wipe down their boards with this cleaner before the Palmetto's Finest group came to rate our school for best in the state).
