Pros: -Christmas music is fun...
-Its got some classic songs
Cons: -annoying original songs
-untrained/weak voice
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this album to anyone, unless they are a HUGE "Lizzie McGuire" fan, and will love anything this teen puts on the table.
luckythirteen's Full Review: Santa Claus Lane by Hilary Duff
'Santa Claus Lane' - Hilary Duff is an album I wouldn't recommend, unless you like to listen to cheesy Christmas songs, sung by a clearly inexperienced "singer" (I use that term VERY loosely.) 'Tell Me A Story (About The Night Before)' is extremely immature, with Lil Romeo rapping the verses. All of the other songs, such as 'Same Old Christmas', 'When The Snow Comes Down In Tinsle Town', 'Last Christmas' and the title track 'Santa Claus Lane' all sound so similar that you'd think your stereo is stuck on repeat. Her attempts at classics like 'Jingle Bell Rock' and 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' is almost insulting. The only song that I can listen to, and that makes me think twice about her singing abilities is 'I Heard Santa On The Radio', ignoring the obnoxiousness of the song.
