Pros: It does look impressive.
Cons: It does make the other three sets in the house look kind of antique.

| apache71486's Full Review: Sanyo HT28745 28 inch TV |
In the past, I owned a Sanyo and was very pleased with it. Received this TV for Father's Day, and after nearly sixty years of watching a screen from all angles and distances, the HDTV takes some getting used to. Based on history, my other Sanyos are five and seven years old, and I have not had a moment's problem with them. Replace a remote from time to time (they must return to Japan on their own), and that's about it. This one, however, requires me to stay within a couple of feet of true center of the screen in order to see the picture properly. Leave the center and it starts to fade out. Is it me or the machine? Also, when you are accustomed to a 25" being a 25", the measurements on today's TVs 19.1" x 26.1" take some getting used to. Maybe I am the old foggey and this is how things are going to be.
