| sportsweek's Full Review: Sanyo SCP 4000 Cell Phone |
Ain't life grand? I mean how did people ever survive before the technological revolution that we are in today? Today's technological masterpiece to be discussed . . . the Sanyo SCP-4000 web-enabled mobile phone.
First of all let me say, I live with my phone. I spend a ton of time online and so instead of getting a second phone line my friends know to call my mobile number. I just love thinking about all of those tele-marketers getting a busy signal. I use my phone with Sprint PCS service and their wireless web. The one drawback of all of this, and I'm sure it will change soon, is that I cannot just surf the internet and go anywhere I'd like. With this service, and I understand with most others, I can only visit specific sites. Most everywhere I'd like to go is included except for epinions! (Could you imagine being in a shopping mall and reading a few reviews before making a purchase? Or writing a car review while waiting on a tow truck?) My main sites that I go to are yahoo, bloomberg, foxsports, weather, entertainment, jokes and email.
I just think it's wonderful to be able to get stock quotes on the golf course, or find out the score of the big game in your car. When making plans I can quickly check my local weather forecast or find out what's playing when at my local theatre. I also like to read a few jokes before I meet someone to have a fresh one to tell, as well as keep in touch with everyone by email. I honestly don't know how I survived without this phone.
Some of the specific features regarding the phone itself are as follows:
1. 11 different rings to choose from including vibrate (perfect for when you're in a movie theatre or somewhere quiet.
2. An amazing battery - This phone will not die! I often forget to charge overnight and it's never been a problem. With a full charge this phone is good for 3 full days.
3. Crab catch video game - Pretty basic game, you've gotta be pretty bored to spend anytime with this game.
4. Calculator - Comes in handy from time to time
5. Call History - Keeps track of all of your Outgoing, Incoming and missed phone calls as well as it keeps track of your airtime used.
6. Phone Book - Very easy to save and store all of your important numbers
7. Display - You can customize your screen and create a personal greeting such as Hello Tom!
8. Security - You can lock your phone so no one else can use it
9. Set-up - Phone is able to be used with headphones and can be hooked up to a faz/data cable
I hope this epinion convinces you to get one of these, your like will be much simpler if you do.
