Too small for some, yet lots of versatility

We needed a microwave to fit in a cabinet niche limiting us to a compact smaller than 17Wx13Hx11D. After reading through many discouraging reviews about poor quality or operational failures for compacts (possibly due to their low-end pricing), I was skeptical I'd find a decent microwave regardless of the cost. This unit exceeded my expectations.

The list of "don't like" is short:
Touchpad has tiny, gray lettering on a black background that is difficult to see. It's easier to remember locations on the pad used most often.
Consistently burnt popcorn using the recommended setting. The good news is we probably shouldn't be eating the oversalted, oily stuff anyway.
Dot-pattern in see-through window is attractive. However, expect to be nauseous watching the spinning turntable to monitor cooking.
List of what we 'like':
- Quiet, pull-open door. Our old unit had a noisy, push button to open the door. This door pulls open quietly. The unit is light-weight and ours is located about 4 feet up, so opening the door sometimes shifts the microwave. Edging on the front of the shelf keeps the unit in place. We did have to add height under the microwave so the door could open without obstruction.
-Easy to clean. The convection cooking doesn't cook spills or splatters to a crisp that are difficult to remove. The surface cleans up beautifully with a damp cloth. There's one, thin seam, instead of three on my old unit, where food could get pushed into while cleaning.
-Multiple cooking options if you use the microwave for more than melting butter or reheating leftovers. Defrosts based on humidity, weight or time. Variable power options with a 30 second boost button. Memory for favorite cooking programs.
-Turntable interlocks with spinner rack, rather than sit on top of it, so it doesn't slip or shift out of place.
-800+ wattage cooks evenly and quickly.
-Kitchen timer and child lockout feature included.
We've had this microwave about 3 months and haven't had any problems.
Updated later today: Although the dimensions are small, a 12" plate easily fits inside.
Amount Paid (US$): 75
