I bought this toy originally to use the links to attach toys to my sons stroller. He was about 2 months at the time. I left a few of the colored links on the large black ring and he loved shaking the ring and watching the links move. He later thought the rings and links were great for teething on. He loves the colors and textures.
As he got older and started swinging his arms more, I took all but two or three links of as he would hit himself with them when swinging the ring. At almost 8 months, the ring is still one of his favorite things to teethe on.
I have since used the links to attach stroller toys, attach toys to his changing table and also add toys to an activity center we have. I also attach small toys to the black ring to take with us when we go visiting or shopping. This way everything stays together during travel and I can just throw the ring into the diaper bag and have plenty of toys to keep the baby happy.
For such a small toy, it has come in very handy and provided lots of uses and fun. I would highly recommend this product. The black and white ring is great for infants, as those are the best colors for them. As the infant grows, they than have a teether and lots of colorful rings to play with.
As a parent, it's a great way to keep track of small attachable toys. I even have a chain attached to the crib rail and it's great.
