Pros: Price
Cons: Not very rugged. Spokes break and tires warp at will.
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend the bike because it seems inevitable that you will need to replace the wheels very quickly.

| blueiceberg's Full Review: Schwinn Sidewinder 2.6 FS 26-Inch Mens' All-Terrai... |
I just went on line to try to find a replacement rear wheel for my Sidewinder and I noticed a review by another cyclist who had the same problem I have. I thought it was just me. I am somewhat happy to see that it is not me. But on the other side, I am disappointed in the quality of this product because as a kid growing up, the Schwinn name stood for quality. I am not so sure now.
I ride about 12 to 15 miles 3 or 4 times a week over normal sidewalk terrain. A short while back I started feeling and hearing the rear brake rub the wheel. I got off the bike and held up the back and pushed the pedal to rotate the rear tire and I noticed it was badly warped and rubbing the brake every time around. I then noticed a broken spoke. I have had bikes all my life and never had a spoke just break without some impact. But I know for a fact that I did not impact anything with this bike.
Now I need to replace the rear tire and brake pads. Too bad..because otherwise .. I liked the bike for the cost. It isn't great quality..but for the money it is OK
