I bought a three pack of this tape, because it was clear and I could use it to ship my eBay stuff and just seal the box and add the label all at the same time.

This tape seems very thick, which one would think would make it strong and good to use. Being thick though, the surface that is not sticky has a strange feel to it. For lack of a better description, its very slippery and nothing will stick to it. Say if I taped a box closed with this, then applied a self-adhesive shipping label, the label would not stick. Or it might stick for a while then peel back or off. I have also discovered that if I use this tape to seal a box and then tape the label on with another brand of packaging tape so it will hold, the other packaging tape will not stick to the areas where this clear tape is applied.

Scotch is usually very good at packaging tape, but something happened with the formulation of the non-sticky surface on this tape and I do not like it. I did not use all of the first roll and still have two rolls left that I will never use. Can't sell them on eBay, because they do not work for what most eBay'ers would want to use them for. Perhaps I will save them and give them to my no good brother-in-law for his birthday. Ooops, did I say that out loud?

I know this review is short, but I wanted to warn my friends out there about this tape. Don't buy, it won't work well for any application I have tried. Stick to the brown packaging tape by Scotch, it works great.
