Picked it up at Lowe's for $35 after my $75 Republic spreader died suddenly. The salesman at Lowe's gave me a quick course on making sure it is calibrated properly & to check it before usage since banging it on a garage wall when hanging & throw it out. I also learned to spray water to rinse it out after each use. This is a drop speader not broadcast.
Got it home, checked the calibration which was set perfect, and poured the Turfbuilder into it & away I walked sqweezing the opener easy with my hand & the quick wheels have you done with 3000 sq ft in 15 mins. So much better than a broadcast, since it puts the seed or fertilizer straight down onto the lawn, not all over the driveway or into surrounding gardens.
Very light to pick up & hand on garage wall, large enough to hold a 5000 sq ft bag of product, yet not too wide so it doesn't get in the way of the SUV parking next to it in the garage.
Nothing to rust, so I expect this to last a good 10 years +
