For my money, no other manufacture can beat Seagate, like you, they are all I buy. Great review! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I understood all of that! LOL (Reply to this comment)

Wow ... I understood every word of that ... which you know from reading my review is saying quite alot. Nice job conveying the product in language that ordinary non-techies can understand, while still conveying information that the techies will approve of too. Kudos!

Very informative review (Reply to this comment)

I have to admit, I'm a Maxtor man myself. I agree with you about Western Digital. Many years ago, Seagate had their own share of problems, and we affectionately referred to them as "SeaCrates." Clearly, they've improved since then, as your review indicates. If I ever run into any problems with Maxtor, I'll certainly consider Seagate as an alternative in the future, thanks to your excellent review.

Thank you for your comment, I appreciate your honesty and candor as for your Western Digital mine lasted me 4 years, not a bad run. However, I am a bit sour when I loose all my data, and the time it takes to recovery my system to the point where it once was.

Thanks again,

Hi Jeffrey
So that's the term eh, I thought something was clawing its way out. I've got a western digital now, but you know that, you left a comment on my review of it, returning the favor is as good excuse as any to leave a comment on another one of your excellent and comprehensive reviews.

A question comes to mind after reading of your WDs demise. Just how long did it last you?

Got me a touch concerned seeing I have a Western Digital. But I am running a 14GB Seagate as a backup (F:) drive, so I should be ok. Man, I never want to lose everything like that again. I had to abandon a couple of accounts because there was no way to retrieve the passwords.

Thx 4 the review
Eli

PS: I've read enough of your reviews now and trust that whatever you write about, you do so having the product knowledge and the ability to be clearly understood. I've just put you on my WoT thats all. Thx
