| nosleep5000fan's Full Review: Select Comfort Mattress Sleep Number 5000 |
I purchased the sleep number 5000 thru QVC about 7 years ago thinking it will be a great upgrade to my previous mattresses and was sold over the fact that is supposed to be the best thing for aching back, trouble sleeping. It was okay the 1st 3 or 4 years then it started to sag, my side of the mattress deflates, (which is the lighter weight put on it) we have to every other day inflate itI dont know what the problem is, I wake up in a sink hole, have triouble getting out of it...not to mention the pain I wake up in..right now is a nightmare, dont even want to open the top foam layer to check if there's anything out of place, we had such a hard time just putting all this pieces together, it was the most challenging thing we have ever done, instructions did not make any sense, and the materials of the base....cheap looking pieces, hard plastic ..... we dont want to go thru that again!!! Do not belioeve all that you see on tv....I will not recommend any of the sleep number beds to anyone. Is just not worth the effort and most of all THE PRICE, bad, bad choice, looking for a more comfortable, foam bed, easier to put together, better priced and durable.
