| johnjacob1971's Full Review: Select Comfort Mattress Sleep Number 5000 |
I've been married 55 years. As a pilot I've slept on every continent on this world. I've always bought the best mattress price was no object yet they kept wearing out. In addition, there were some conditions and nights that I wanted a softer or firmer mattress. With a conventional mattress you can't change firmness. Fortunately, with the Sleep Number Bed, that's not an issue!
I'm 6'2 and we bought an e king from sleepnumber. Unquestionably sleepnumber is the ultimate mattress. You can change firmness, and it's cool whereas some sleep systems are insufferably hot. The ultimate is to buy their very best mattress pad and put that on your mattress. What's to wear out? Nothing. Their service people are outstanding. They know their product and can help and recommend what to buy; or if you have a problem with installation setup or what ever they keep outstanding records. Sleepnumber is the finest system I've ever owned.
Assembly was a breeze, but then again, I do fly planes for a living and, from time to time, stay at the Holday Express! But seriously, they provide easy to understand and follow instructions than makes setup a snap.
For the first six months after I got the bed, I always showed it off to my friends. Despite the somewhat awkward silence when I asked them if they wanted to try out the bed ;), they all agreed that it was incredibly comfortable!
