| geckolady's Full Review: Select Comfort Mattress Sleep Number 7000 |
I loved my sleep number bed until I started having problems with the bed within a year of purchase. I called customer service and they asked a ton of questions and had me switching air hoses around, etc. I called them back with the outcome of the various experiments and they sent me new hose connectors. That worked for a short period and I was back to sleeping in a ditch. I called customer service and again they talked me through different scenarios. They weren't certain what was causing the air leakage. They suggested I buy a new pump - a discounted price of approximately $200. I purchased the pump. Well, I'm back to sleeping in a ditch. When I call customer service again I wonder what their guess will be and how much it will cost me. They don't have representatives who come out to diagnose the problem and fix it once and for all. The only time you see those guys is when they come to set up your bed. I paid $2,617 for this bed and I expected a lot more than a bed which konks out in less than a year, customer service via phone and having to pay out more money. I should have purchased an "old fashioned" mattress set!
