| gr8rxdotcom's Full Review: Select Comfort Mattress Sleep Number 7000 |
Fortunately I purchased this from QVC which had a great return policy. I purchased the SleepNumber KG Supreme Bed by SelectC omfort w/ Dual Foam Layer which I was told was the same as their top of the line , at the cost of $2394.
I purchased it in Mar 2007 and returned it the same month.
I don't see how anyone sleeps well on what is essentially an air mattress. We could never get comfortable and neither of us found a sleep number that worked.
Plus the sides were hard to get out of since they had foam sides that made a barrier, similar to a retaining wall. I had had back surgery and was very challenged to get out of this bed at all.
I had been quite excited to find this bed after seeing all the commercials that made it seem to be the answer to everyone's sleep problems. I sleep very well IF I have a comfy bed. This was not it. Plus the air motor was a bit noisey if you had to keep finding a setting that would not sink you deeper into the mattress.
It appears they market this very well and maybe folks want to believe they spent their hard earned money well.
With QVC at least they picked it up at their expense so that is why we got rid of it in a timely manner.
