Very good for my dog with a sensitive tummy!

Pros: no corn, wheat, soy, by-products, great on sensitive tummies

Cons: It does contain brewers rice.

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this product to anyone who wants an all natural food, for a great price!

I recently switched from a different premium brand of dog food to Sensible Choice Chicken and Rice Adult because one of my dogs was vomiting several times a week. Since the switch to Sensible Choice, about two weeks ago, he has not vomited at all!

Sensible Choice contains fructo-oligosaccharides (chicory extract) which is a non-digestible carbohydrate. So it is extra senstive on a dog's stomach. Also, it is gentle on stomachs because it contains only ONE meat protein chicken and only one grain, rice. Sensible Choice contains no by-products, no corn, no wheat, no soy, and no artificial colors, flavors or preseratives.

Ingredients:
Chicken meal, brewers rice, brown rice, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), chicken, natural chicken flavor, beet pulp, rice hulls, brewers yeast, potassium chloride, salt, chicory extract, choline chloride, zinc proteinate, vitamin E supplement, zinc oxide, iron sulfate, manganese proteinate, copper proteinate, copper sulfate, manganous oxide, rosemary extract, sodium selenite, abscorbic acid (source of Vitamin C), vitamin A supplement, calcium pantothenate, biotin, niacin supplement, riboflavin supplement, calcium iodate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamine mononitrate, vitamin B supplement, vitamin D supplement, folic acid.

This food is also very reasonably priced! I paid $17 for a 20 lb bag. Royal Canin, the manufacturer of Sensible Choice has a program that after 10 bags purchased you receive one bag free! Free dog food is always a plus.
