Ok after reading how many great reviews there are we decided to try Serendipity 3. Now this was not the first time. We like to try a place at least two times to give the place a fair shot and both times I have come away feeling WHAT A RIP OFF. It starts from when we arrive. Knowing that the place gets crowded we make a reservation. From the moment we walk in I felt like we were intruding. The host was talking to his manager and did not acknowledge us until after they finished their conversation about their latest script. We were promptly seated after that. We did receive water quickly. After five minutes our waiter came over and took our complete order not even offering drinks first. We order drinks while we order our dinner. 20 minutes later the food arrives but we still have not gotten our drinks that we have ordered. The food is nothing to speak about. I would rate it right behind concession food at a sporting event. We finish our meal and I do have to give it to the bus boys. They were prompt with the water and removing our dishes when we were done. After we finished our meal we sat for 10 minutes before the waiter came by. We order our dessert and finally after a friendly reminder we get our drinks. The dessert comes and it was as advertised. Very good and tasty. After the dessert it took another 10 minutes for the waiter to come around and give us our check. I can understand why they are so busy because they do not try to provide any service what so ever.
