My 11 year old handicapped son received this for Christmas, and in short he loves his Kermit toy almost as much as his radio( another Christmas gift ) I have a hard time finding toys that will hold Kevin's interest, and that are easy for him to manipulate too. The fact that Kermit dose not just sing, but has other activities ie. humming, and slurping flies, scores high on my list.
I thought that this toy was soooo cute. Kevin agree's as do the rest of the family. When Kevin opened the gift and found out what Kermit did, he was hooked. Kevin loves to make Kermit humm, and really likes the fly sound, and the slurping sound too. In fact Kevin had to "fight" his Uncles to play with Kermit when they came over for Christmas dinner. They thought Kermit was too cool also.
The only draw back I have in regards to this toy is the the song "I'm a caribean ambfibian" is a little too catchy, I find myself humming almost all the time now. But that is a small price for me to pay in return for the smile on my sons face as he plays contentedly at the Kitchen table.
