| zzJulia's Full Review: Sesame Street Magic Talking Kermit The Frog |
I bought this toy for my 18 month old nephew and he loves it!!! Kermit is a bright green color that makes him attractive for younger children. At first, my nephew was a little intimidated by the humming sounds that the toy makes, but now, he will move my hand out of the way just so that he can squeeze Kermit's mouth to hear the humming!
Each part of Kermit is squeezable, and emits little ribbits or a buzzing fly sound. If you squeeze Kermit and he begins to sing his song, "I'm a Caribbean...Amphibian, and I like to hop in the tropical sea...won't you sing along with me..." you can also squeeze his mouth shut and he'll hum the tune! It's awesome.
My nephew especially loves toys that are animated, such as this one and the bouncing Tigger, but I've found many of these animated toys to be really loud. Kermit isn't overly loud and he has so many different places to squeeze that he keeps my nephew fascinated for long periods of time.
I think this toy may be recommended for children ages 2/3 and up, so we always supervise closely when our nephew is playing with Kermit.
Kermit is such good company that I would consider buying one just to have in my office cube.
