When my son was about a year or so, My boyfriend and I bought him this toy. When my son was about 10 months old we started teaching him about his hands, eyes, tummy, etc. This toy was such a great buy. We decided to get this because it will help our son out more!
My little boy loved Elmo! He loved the bright red color and all. He just adored this little toy so much. My son loved the way he would talk and say the right thing. As time went by Jay Jay started says mouth, Tummy, Eyes etc better and knowing them more. Elmo is such a great toy! Jayson is now 20 months old and still plays with his Elmo! I'm happy we bought this for him!
Jay was interested in this toy for a long time! He used to play with it every single day. He would even sleep with him. Elmo was part of our family, Where ever we went Elmo went also. We would go to the mall Elmo would go, we went for a ride in the car Elmo would go to. Now that Jay is a little older he don't play with him as much. He will go over to him and touch him for a little bit but not as much as he used to. But he still loves Elmo and Cookie Monster!
This toy was very very very useful! It taught my son more about your mouth, eyes, tummy etc. He learned how to say the word better and point on other peoples body where their nose and eyes were. Before we got Elmo he only knew, hands, head, eyes and sometimes nose. Now he knows a lot more! He also only knew where his eyes nose etc was. Now when we play he can point to my eyes, nose, head, hands, feet, neck, tummy, etc.. He's getting so smart! Elmo is a very great toy!
I would recommend this Elmo toy to anyone with little kids who are learning about their hands, nose, eyes etc. With this toy they will learn how to say the words better and even point to other peoples nose and eyes. Elmo and the rest of the Sesame Street Family are wonderful toys for little kids both Boys and Girls.
