Pros: Curly sexy hair controls frizz, defines curls, and is fast, easy, and fun to use.
Cons: Curly sexy hair has a salon scent that can linger.
My experience with curly sexy hair curling creme:
About eight or nine weeks ago, I visited Great Clips hair salon for a hair cut. My hair is quite fine and on rainy, humid days it tends to frizz out of control. When kept fairly short, it has lots of natural curl. Grown out to shoulder length, it has waves. I like a cut that is wash and wear as I do not have time for blow drying, spraying, or styling. After cutting, the Great Clips beautician asked permission to use a small amount of creme on my still damp hair to "tame" it. I agreed. It took her only a few seconds to work the creme through and to " scrunch " my hair with her hands into nice curls. I liked the look and asked what the creme was called. She replied," curly sexy hair." I thought she was joking around with me...but, yeah, that is the creme's name! I left the salon with damp hair and drove home through the rain. That evening, I was amazed to see I still had nice, defined curls without frizz! I knew it had to be that creme.
The next week , I stopped by the salon and bought some curly sexy hair curling creme to give it a go. Great Clips was selling the 5.1 oz. size for only $10.00 instead of their usual $16.95. Good, I could experiment with it on the cheap.
The creme comes out of the tube very quickly but only a little is needed to style, so be careful. I put about a dime size amount in one palm, spread it to both palms, and then diffuse the creme through all my hair while my hair is wet. (The creme is a nice texture, not runny.) Then I scrunch my hair into place ( five or six seconds) and I am ready to go. Easy and quick is great! My hair does not feel or look stiff which is also wonderful. Curly sexy hair curling creme not only defines and holds curls without frizz, but can also be used to give lift to my hair around my face and crown where my hair is pretty short. And if you scrunch it too high or curl it too tight, just comb it back down while still damp. The only thing I don't like about curly sexy hair curling creme is that it does have a scent. The scent is light and fresh but I would still prefer no scent at all.
What I like most about curly sexy hair curling creme:
1. It keeps most of the frizz away.
2. It helps define and hold curls.
3. It is not stiff or greasy.
4. Only a small amount is needed to work.
5. Fast and easy styling with damp hair and fingers.
What I don't like about curly sexy hair curling creme:
1. I don't like the fact that it is scented.
2. I would prefer a smaller size for purse or travel.
Overall, I am well pleased with curly sexy hair curling creme. I have had fun with it and now use it most days, even when the weather is sunny and dry. Friends have remarked that my hair looks professionally styled. I have recommended curly sexy hair curling creme to those with curly or wavy hair.
I feel that the money for this product is well spent. The 5.1 oz. size will last me a long time. And when you know your hair looks and feels great, it is much easier to feel sexy and confident!
