Gondo's Full Review: Jason Natural Cosmetics Shampoo Biotin
I've used natural Shampoos and Conditioners in the past. I didn't notice much hoopla about them. Then last year I was working as a cook in a restaurant. I have exema on my hands and they broke out as I thought they wood from working in the restaurant. I was forced to wear vinyl surgical gloves while working. I also had very bad dandruff at the time. So I was at the grocery store checking out the natural products. I picked up the Jason stuff cause it was cheaper than the other brands and looked good.
Within 2 weeks my dandruff was gone, and it wasn't harsh on my hands. Now for the bad news. I have since stopped working at the restaurant, and my hands arn't healed yet. I am a male with long hair so I switched to Garnier Fructis Long and Strong thinking it would be good for my long hair and its not expensive at all. Well my hands are very irritated and my hair is comming out more. I had long hair many years ago and my hair came out the same way everytime I brushed and shampooed. Well with the Jason my hair wasn't comming out.
So I am attributing my irritated hands and hair falling out to the Garnier Fructis Shampoo. I'm going to check out the Jason web site and I'm hitting my grocery store today to buy more Jason Shampoo. Probably the Natural Biotin again. This time I won't switch again. I'm sticking with Jason, well at least natural, shampoo for life.
Jason is also very reasonably priced considering the size of the bottle, and compared to other natural brands which are usually expensive. And after having searched the net it seems Jason is a very reputable company with a high quality organic/natural product you can trust. No false advertising or gimics.
The one gripe I have is that Jason doesn't label their shampoos properly. They don't say if their shampoo is good for dry damaged hair, volume hair, frizzy hair, dandruff, etc.... It makes it hard to choose a product other than by scent.
Highly recommended. I also recommend Jason's body wash. I use the Tea Tree oil one and its great for my sensitive skin. The bottle is hudge too...cheaper than most regular brands considering you get a litre of the stuff. Makes a great bubble bath too.
I also use a hand cream by Nature's Gate. It's the colloidal oatmeal cream and its amazing for my exema on my hands. Drys smooth, not greasy. Doesn't last long buts its amazing. Way better than those Jergen's, Vasoline, Lubriderm, etc.... brands.
