Pros: Clear, crisp sound, great radio, reception, tape-to-tape dubbing, play exchange.
Cons: None. Remote might be too small for big hands [about 6 inches long]
The Bottom Line: This little gem will deliver a great sound and has many of the same features of higher end systems at a much lower price.

Don't let the price of this little gem fool you -- the sound is great!
I was searching the net for a mini system. When I saw the price on this unit, I thought it would sound horrible, but decided to give it a shot -- could always send it back. Wow -- was I surprised!
Looks:
Not lots of flashy lights -- well, not flashy in any regard. However, it has a nice simple look. The main unit is housed in a black metal casing with blue and gray buttons. The LED display shows the time [white light], CD that is being played [orange light], and radio station [white light]. It has two speakers with wood sides painted black with some blue on the bass reflux ducts, gray grills over the woofers and black grill over the tweeters. This item looks nicer than it does in its online pictures.
Features:
A Mini Component System [not portable]
* 150 total Watts Power Output
* 3 CD disc changer [rotary] with play exchange [may change a CD while another plays; may play CD-R/RW discs
* Full logic dual cassettes with tape-to-tape option
* AM/FM Tuner which allows you to preset up to 40 of your favorite stations
* Pre-set Equalizer with 6 modes
* Built-in Clock/Sleeper/Timer
* 2 Way Speakers
* Full function remote control
Price:
I priced shopped and Kmart [ www.kmart.com ] had the lowest price at $119.00, shipping not included. Other charges: shipping cost $13.97, and state sales tax, plus optional one-year extended warranty is available for an additional $16.99.
Overall impression:
The system sounds great! It produces a nice clear, crisp sound [bass, woofers, and tweeters all there], the radio actually picks up a clear signal and it's very easy to set-up. Okay, the clock did take me a bit to set up, but hey, that's what I get for just skimming through the directions :) Do not worry -- not your VCR - it's easy to set up the clock. And that full function remote control means you can change the radio station, lower or raise the volume, record, control the cassettes, or select a different CD to play without leaving your chair.
