Sheraton's Vistana Village is a very quiet property nestled between wooded areas on International Drive. This property consists of several small condo type buildings with a total of 360 villas circling around the pool/ courtyard center. When I visited this lovely property, the first feeling I had was how relaxing and peaceful it was. After all, this is Orlando, Theme Park, USA! It was a pleasant surprise.


Location

Sheraton's Vistana Village is located at 12401 International Drive, Orlando, FL, 32821. This property is situated in a an ideal spot. It is easily accessible to the numerous attractions, convention center, and eateries of all kinds. All within a 5-15 minute drive. Since this property lies in seclusion, (at this time), a car is highly recommended. But, one never knows about future developments that may "pop up" in the vacant land available surrounding this great resort. There is an alternative though, if one chooses not to opt for the car. Sheraton's Vistana offers free courtesy shuttle to and from the Disney Theme Parks. Also, with the help of the Guest Services staff, they can arrange for one to get to other attractions for a nominal fee.


The Villas

One Bedroom Villa: Accommodates up to four. Private bedroom with king bed and jacuzzi and pull-out queen sofa in living room. One bathroom. Private screened in balcony or terrace with seating for four. I preferred the terrace since one can walk out of it as a second exit. Dining room seating for four with full kitchen.

Two Bedroom Villa: Accommodates up to eight. Private Master Bedroom with king bed and jacuzzi. Second private bedroom has two double beds. Two bathrooms. Living room has the queen sofa. Dining room to seat six. Private screened in balcony or terrace.

Both villas have washer/dryer and full kitchen with cooking and eating utencils. The kitchen goes as far as including a toaster, blender, etc. Also, hairdryer, iron/board, data port, vcr, TV, CD player, and stereo. Both villas types are spacious, private, and suit all needs. The decor is relaxing with pale yellows, beiges, and pastels in coloring with light wood furniture and in cabinetry.


Dining and Eating

There is an area adjacent to the Lobby called "Flagler Station". This area overlooks the courtyard area and pool. Here you will find the Market Deli Bar & Grill which is open from 8:AM-10:PM. This Market features deli foods such as sandwiches, burgers, chips, etc. It also offers grocery supplies to stock the refrigerator. Also, there is the poolside tiki bar offering refreshments as well as the same menu of "deli" style food item choices.


What is there to do here at Sheraton Vistana?

*There is a free fitness center available to all guests with state of the art equipment. Lets not forget the sauna and steam room!

*Tennis and sand Volley ball court.

*Basketball court.

*Tanning room.

*BBQ pits and picnic tables.

*Huge pool, a quarter of an acre in size with a waterfall in the middle of it all. The pool is heated and very comfortable. No overcrowding here!

*Courtesy cabanas if it gets too hot in Florida! (Placed in certain areas).


Is There Anything For Children?

*Childrens Activity Center: 9:AM-7:PM (subject to change)

*Childrens playground and heated wading pool.

*Gameroom.
