hessiot's Full Review: Shure E3C Consumer Headphones
I wasn't sure about these at first because I had serious difficulty getting them to seal in the ear canal. They sounded uncomfortably brite and there was absolutely no bass. But then I sat down and tried all of the different buds, different wearing styles (over the ear, standard, etc.) and as soon as I put them in like standard ear bud phones with the larger, soft rubber buds - BAM!
These things are blowing me away on a regular basis. There's healthy bass and I am hearing things in songs that I've never heard before, even though I've listened to them hundreds of times.
My last thought - Buy a pair of these things.
UPDATE - 3/21/2006
The previous comments from a couple of other people regarding giving these headphones a little bit of time to break in seems accurate to me, especially in the bass range. I also tried using the memory-foam buds and they're easily the most comfortable. I didn't think they would seal as well at first, but they definitely do. Overall I still highly recommend this product.
