These E3c canalphones give you the best of both words, small and sound. They are small enough to put in your pocket yet have big enough sound to blow you away. These E3C's do that, with a decent bass response, good mids, and good treble without brightness. Though, I do think they sound to much like the...Shure E2C, which is more than twice as inexpensive. There is little improvement between the two, other than these are slightly more bassier. They're still comfortable, and small enough to carry in your pocket. Though, I'd highly recommedn the E2Cs over these. There is very little improvement between that model, yet that other model costs $100 compare to these which are $180.
