Pros: Great flavor, light body, unique taste

Cons: Light body, lack of texture

jeffdaro's Full Review: Sierra Nevada Stout

Guiness is of course the epitome of Stouts, but SN has taken the wild northwest hoppiness and combined it with the darkness of a fantastic stout to create Snout, yes a SN stout in a class by itself.

I love the taste of this beer, and I love that it is no heavier on the stomach then their IPA.

It doesn't have the weight or texture that the sour of Guiness brings, and it doesn't have that home brew bite like a Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout.

I often say to my friends, "I won't say this in public, but I think I like the SN Stout as much as Guiness." Well now I have said it.

SN makes awesome brews. I am drinkin' an IPA as I write this. Yeeeeha.
