SiliconeZone Flexible Muffin Pan

Another great joy fromSiliconeZone in my kitchen -

My SiliconeZone Muffin Pan is so fun to cook with and also really ingenious! It is easy to use and the results are consistent every time! I must admit I bought all my silicone products a few years back strictly because they were flashy red. Despite my shallow beginnings with these products, I have found them to be extremely useful in my baking! I love the flexibility (figuratively and literally) that they offer with different recipes.

This muffin pan is consistent with other silicone products I have tried in its ease of use. I love being able to easily remove perfect muffins from it every time! They are baked to yummy perfection and easy to pop out.

Description -

This muffin pan measures 12 ½ inches long by 8 1/2 inches wide. It is 1.75 inches deep and has nice lips on the edges for handling, although I like to use a cookie sheet under it for stability when placing it in the oven. Each of the six muffin cups holds a generous 1 cup and they come in a variety of colors including my red and at least blue and yellow as well.

According to the manufacturer, this high temperature silicone bakeware muffin pan can go from negative 58 degrees to 500 degrees and is made from high quality food grade silicone. It does not contain fillers like some other silicone bakeware and is made with the same standards that are used in commercial silicone bakeware.

Using this miracle of a muffin pan -

This is probably the only muffin pan I will ever buy! I love being able to not have a fight with my muffins after they are baked just to get them out. The silicone heats very evenly and as a result I get a perfect set of muffins out of it. The silicone stops cooking the muffins as soon as you take it out of the oven because it cools down almost immediately. In fact, you don’t have to take the muffins out of the pan at all until you eat them unless you plan on using it for more.

By nature silicone has non stick qualities anyway, but these pans are made with a non-porous shiny surface. You can also use butter and Pam on the pan just as if it were a traditional pan. It also will not retain cooking odors.

I also like that I can touch these silicone baking pans without getting burned. Even at its hottest, my muffin pan won’t really hurt me. I do still use the oven mitt when taking it out, but I am not at risk for any real injury. I don’t need the cookie sheet when taking it out of the oven because I am not worried about spillage, but I do make sure to hold it on both sides so my muffins don’t decide to pop out into the oven.

Like the loaf pan and some of the other products made by SiliconeZone, this muffin pan is also a very good Jello or ice cream dessert mold because it can go into the fridge or freezer and withstand low temperatures.

Cleaning and Storing is simple -

This muffin pan can come clean with warm soapy water and a rag, but is also dishwasher safe! I tend to wipe down the insides of the cups a little more thoroughly than I have to do anything else to make sure there isn’t a lot of food debris, but for the most part I just throw it in the dishwasher and it comes out looking brand new.

Storing silicone bakeware is fun because you can roll it up and put a rubber band around it and throw it in a drawer. It has a memory and pops right back into perfect shape after long stints in storage. There is also a hole for easy hanging in the pantry if you like that better.

Lastly -

I love my muffin pan! SiliconeZone has made a pan that is flexible when other pans are not and it does a fabulous job baking yummy perfect muffins. Go get one and try it!
