Re: Wrong mattress (Reply to this comment)

Perhaps Simmons changed the warranty on model names sold now. I sold this mattress over a year ago and at the time, it was two years old. The warranty was printed right on the mattress said "Lifetime Warranty". This is the TRUTH and I took the first one we had from 1999-2001 back to Babies 'R Us and they replaced it for free with no questions asked. We then used this second mattress from 2001-2003 for our second child.
Also, when I wrote this review, the mattress was listed under Simmons Baby BeautyRest. I can't help it if epinions changes the review category.
You might want to check around to see if anyone still has this (older?) model so you can get the lifetime warranty as well.

Good to hear good reviews about the Beautyrest, but I was hoping for a review of the Baby Beauty Supreme, which is what this should be about. The Beauty Supreme has a 15-year warranty, not lifetime.

If I'm not mistaken, the lifetime warranty info is printed right on the mattress info color label. We save warranty info just for this type of scenario. From my career experience, you'll have to believe me when I say that warranty replacement costs are calculated into the original purchase price.

for taking the time to share about the mattress and the customer service. We had a horrid experience with Simmons - years back - so I wonder if it was the store that you dealt with versus the manufacturer? Yet perhaps the manufacturer has improved their customer service.
Happy parenting!

a nice return policy! Also, a nice return for your money by selling it second hand.

I bought this mattress for my son, too. The mattress cover splintered a bit after two years, but I completely forgot about the warranty! That really is remarkable that they'll replace it at any time. Good for you for taking them up on it!
