Pros: Comfortable for the first month or so
Cons: After a month or so the springs on this mattress tend to give out
The Bottom Line: Do not buy a Simmons! The springs don't last very long, and after awhile you will wake up sore.

| jimsocal's Full Review: Simmons Beautyrest Mattress |
I bought a Simmons Beautyrest about 5 years ago. After about a month it started to bother me. After about 6 months it was very uncomfortable. By the time I could finally afford to get rid of it, I woke up every morning with a sore and stiff back, neck, and/or shoulders.
Simmons individual springs are not sturdy enough to provide long-term support. It's all a big marketing gimmick.
The IDEA of individual springs is good, but accomplishing it with springs that last is pretty impossible.
DO NOT buy a Simmons. You will regret it.
What to buy, then?
I recommend latex, or a Stearns and Foster, or one of the smaller private labels. Pretty much all the major brands that begin with an "S" are lousy! Sealy is very bouncy. Spring Airs start to sag.
