One of the best investments that I have ever made was purchasing that king size piece of heaven that I sleep on. Isn't it funny how our priorities change as Father Time advances our needs for such luxuries? After travelling around the country, sleeping on those "back breakers" that the best of hotels call mattresses, I do appreciate my Simmons Beautyrest so.
I began my mission to alleviate my terrible back pain a few years ago after being injured in turbulence. There is nothing that I can do when I am out on the road---but I found the solution for my home with this mattress!!
I have a king size dual comfort mattress. It will satisfy both parties that perhaps have different needs in the "personal comfort" department. It's about time that someone thought of this!! Half of mine is firm, while the other half is softer. The debate is finally over when two parties duke it out over which one to choose.
These types of mattresses will be expensive, but waking up rested is well worth the money. If you want to pay a few hundred dollars more, you can further pamper your body by getting a pillow top mattress. This IS the ultimate sleeping experience. If you aren't familiar with pillow tops, they are three to four inch mini mattresses sewed on top of the original mattress that give you the feeling of what it would feel like to sleep on a fluffy cloud. Other than seeing my husband, sliding into that bed tops the list of things that I look forward to when I come home from a trip!
I won't bore you trying to explain the technology used to create this most comfortable item---I don't claim to be an engineer of these things, but the salesperson convinced me that they have "conjured up" the best way to get a peaceful nights rest in that department. I am convinced---believe me, I have slept on mattresses that have left my poor back branded by the coils that maliciously stab you during the night!!
For those of you that can "sleep anywhere" and not be crippled the next day---you are so very fortunate. As for me, it affects my entire day after sleeping on a low quality mattress, and straight to the chiropractor I go! This is an excellent mattress if you experience any cervical problems. I give it full credit in helping me with my battle with the lower back.
I purchased mine at a department store for approximately $1,200.00, and it has not made me second guess myself one time. I believe that I will have this item for quite a while due to the fact that it still could pass as a brand new item on the showroom floor. It hasn't hinted that it wants to sag or loose any of the plushness that it originally had when I purchased it.
If it has been a long time so to say, since you have treated yourself to something to enhance your life, this would be a wonderful place to start!
