Last month my hubby and I purchased the Xtra plush pillow top mattress at close to $800.00 for the Cal. King size and were not even able to get one week of sleep on it before it started to sag and separate. We had previously been sleeping on a custom 'ALL FOAM' (NOT memory) and it had condensed and became very hard so we thought we'd try something new and only ended up throwing our money away! No return available and absolutely NO return email from Simmons to my repeated requests!!
For us- this has been so disturbing that we actually went to sleeping on the floor on 'camper pads' which at least allowed us to move around some and NOT fall into a hole!
We have since reverted back to our old 'foam' mattress that I tore open and put in a 3" memory and a regular 'egg crate' foam over it and sewed the foam pillowtop back on!
Now we can go back to sleeping again on an 'almost new' mattress and have to figure out how to dispose of a 'BRAND NEW' mattress!!

We agree with others- stay away from the pillow tops made of batting especially!! Quilted foam has a much nicer feel to it and will last much longer!
